Class Descriptions
Aerobics A cardio-vascular workout that
maximises fat burning by combining hi and low impact moves
and combinations.
Aqua Using the water as resistance a total
body workout combining impact free aerobics and muscle toning
exercises.
Non swimmers welcome.
Deep water aqua This class includes use
of a flotation belt for the deep section plus woggles, mitt
and dumb-bells.
Advise swimmer.
Body Balance Body Balance approaches the
mind and body in order to achieve overall fitness. It improves
flexibility and mobility, corrects postural imbalances and
promotes relaxation. It will increase muscle strength without
bulking. This class is taught to music.
Body Combat A combination of powerhouse
moves and stances developed from a range of self-defence
disciplines including karate,
kickboxing, tai chi and tae kwondo, into an adrenaline pumping
routine. Body Combat is an innovative athletic workout for
all fitness levels.
Body Pump Is the number one weighted workout
recognised throughout the world. It is a non-impact class
designed to give you an effective workout with the use of
barbells and weights.
Body Jam Shows you how to build moves into
a routine, using the latest music together with the coolest
sounds. Body Jam is an aerobic workout adding new meaning
to the concept of having fun whilst getting fit. So join
the Body Jam party and get into the groove.
Circuits Set around a series of stations.
This workout combines cardiovascular fitness with muscular
strength and endurance training.
Individuals work to their own level.
Clinic classes Essential for first timers
and an excellent refresher for regular attendees to Body
Pump, Body Combat and Body Balance.
Cycle A cardio-vascular and muscle toning
on a stationary bike in a motivational group exercise format.
The quickest way to burn calories in the shortest possible
time. suitable for all, easy to follow.
Legs, bums and tums (lbt) Muscle toning
and shaping of the lower body.
Nice & easy aqua A class designed for
you to work at your own pace, ideal for new members - all
levels welcome especially the 50+ age group.

Salsa & Tone A salsa style dance workout
followed by body toning. Salsa is an aerobic worout followed
by exercises to
shape and tone the body.
Step A hi/lo impact cardiovascular workout
involving stepping on and off a platform of varying heights
complemented by optional arm combinations.
Step & Tone A combination of step,
giving you a cardiovascular workout, and body toning, a
muscle strength and endurance workout to shape and tone
the body, in one workout.
Total abdominals Focus on abdominal, back
and pelvic floor muscles to achieve a firmer, stronger body
inside and out.
Yoga A class focusing on posture and body
alignment combining relaxation and body awareness. Designed
to boost energy levels, increase flexibility and relieve
stress.
